I spent the next day with Adrienne on my mind. Her deep espresso skin, her startling eyes, and the way her full lips curved up in a smile. I could hardly focus on anything else. The prospect of meeting my mate that night was overwhelming. My mind flitted through the possibilities of the life we could have together.

Ol Gaok really good writing in this chapter but also so far the entire book. I can feel his heart breaking .... makes me want to hug him
Sarso how is it that vampires totally unknown yet two of the main characters who are good friends within the same pack both had interactions with them. Also, add a (x months ago) to help people keep the timeline straight if youre going to jump back and forth like this.
TaylorI’m actually shocked at home good this book is. I was expecting it to be far more cheesy but there are lots of twists and turns I wasn’t expecting. There’s still cheesy and raunchy parts, but way less than I expected.

ahsirtwell, she was already mated to a vampire...and decided not to accept Mason...because if she did, Mason's mark would've erased the vampire mark...too bad...poor Mason
