The red button was an alarm button. It was linked to Mike. If Hayden pressed the button, it would send Mike his location. Mike would also call the police if Hayden pressed the button.

If Hayden had not been forced to act, he would not have gone up against Elliot! Elliot made him do it.

"Hayden…" Avery anxiously called out to him in her bed.

Hayden came over to her bed and held her hand. "Mommy, don't be afraid, I'm here."

Avery looked anxious and said to him, "Hayden, I can't really move right now. I'll return home once I'm better. When Elliot comes by later, I'll get him to arrange for a driver to send you home. You have to be good—"

Hayden frowned. "Mommy, don't ask him for help! I want to go back home with you! I promised Layla that I would bring you home!"

"I can't move right now—"

"I've already called the police. They will bring us home."

Avery's brows furrowed. She looked behind Hayden. Elliot was standing by the door!

He had overheard what Hayden had said a moment ago.

Lindayou see this drama btwn Elliot and Hayden is Avery's fault. she should of never talked so badly about him to her kids. now the issues will get worst all bc she couldn't her opinions to herself

KristinGranted this is someone else’s work but I fail to see why Elliot hates and will so easily abuse a child especially when he went through it as a child. Also this is perfect timing for the absolute truth to be exposed about his kids. Stop dragging this mess out. We readers should post enough

LJSO And YES Elliot needs help! Hopefully Avery can convince him to seek professional help. After all she knew long ago that he was on anti depressants. Elliot said long ago if the kids treated him like they treat Avery he would accept them and not mind having them around.
LJSO Avery should have kept her and Elliot’s problems between them. There’s 2 sides to every story and all the kids know is hers. Elliot’s scared of kids because what Shea and him has gone through. All he wants is Avery to love him and Shea to have a good life. I think he would love the kids if he knew
LJSO Yes he is mentally ill. Sad thing is mentally ill people need help and understanding, not to be told they are sick. I wish Avery would have set a good example of how to treat people, she’s taught her kids it’s ok to treat sick people horrible. She was wrong to call Shea an idiot in front of them.
