Aurora's POV

Two weeks flew by, and I couldn't believe how quickly the days flew by. In the blink of an eye, I was now in my bedroom at my parents' house in Portland, finishing up getting ready for my graduation ceremony. I felt so nervous, so happy, and so... proud.

Just as we appreciate the hard work of others, I also had to take a second to appreciate my own work and feel proud of it. Getting to this point had taken so much effort—sleepless nights, sleepless nights, tears, laughter, stress—but I knew that at some point my efforts would be rewarded, and that moment was today...

I put the finishing touches on my outfit before finally stopping staring at my reflection and going straight to getting dressed. I put on a form-fitting blue dress with wide straps, a below-the-knee length, and a wide slit on the left leg. I put on some high heels and considered myself ready. I felt very pretty, to be honest.
