Samara looked at him. "These are Wolfires. They are different from normal wolves. The Wolfire is our totem. We worshiped them. Their whereabouts are very uncertain, so few people have seen a real Wolfire for thousands of years."

She looked at the pack and said, "I never knew there were so many of them in this valley."

'Totem?' Darryl nodded and said, "If that's the case, then Lukas was probably here because of them. I bet he will have a use for the Wolfire since it is the totem of your tribe."
