Lord Kenny and the royal guards that stood around him were also shocked. Then, a barely noticeable look flashed across Lord Kenny's eyes. "Skylar?"

He was pretending to be surprised. Everything in front of them was a play staged by Skylar. They used a eunuch to lead Yvette alone to the palace and then trapped her in the formation. Skylar would then appear and save her from a bad situation.

They did this to dispel any bad impression Yvette had of Skylar. They hoped she would join them on the dark side.

Lord Kenny Bred regained his composure and pretended to be furious at Skylar's appearance.

"Skylar, how dare you trespass onto my palace? If you are sensible, just surrender right now," he shouted.

Lord Kenny was actually not a terrible actor. The royal guards had fixed their eyes on Skylar as they were ready to make a move at any time.
