Adrian’s response completely ignited the serpent’s fury. It couldn’t understand why Adrian would remain so arrogant after it had already declared its intent to stop fighting.

"You pathetic human! Die!" the serpent roared as its crimson eyes glowed with murderous intent.

As the serpent gathered its strength, its life force began to burn away. The process was rapid and desperate. Witnessing this, Renee gasped in alarm.

"Be careful! It’s burning its own lifespan to boost its power and launch an attack!" she warned.

Adrian remained utterly unshaken. He smiled and replied, "I thought it might be something impressive. Turns out it’s nothing worth worrying about. Don’t get so worked up."
