The sword flew through the air, and some of the monster's limbs were severed, but with so many limbs, it barely made a difference. More importantly, although the creature looked terrifying and was formed by multiple corpses, it wasn't a single monster.

Adrian saw more corpses gathering around the monster. No matter how many undead he and the others destroyed, the tattered bodies reassembled, unaffected by his attack
