Gwen shook her head. "No. I wouldn't dare to think that way. I just think that this field is way too new for me …"

"Ms. Hawk, don't worry," Chuck said with a smile.

"I'm just borrowing someone from Mark to get closer to Ms. Miller. I won't need you to do anything medical-related.

"I heard from Mark that you're Ms. Miller's best friend in Emerald Group. So I boldly asked him to loan you to me. If not, I wouldn't have dared to take one of Mark's beloved staff away from him."

Chuck's words eased the tense and dangerous atmosphere.
