Chapter 152 —Fear of Flying
Narrator:
The music was still playing softly inside the jet. Eros moved to the beat, standing between the seats, while Sasha laughed, reclining on the sofa with her bare feet, wiggling her toes as if conducting an invisible orchestra.
“You're ridiculous!” she said, laughing.
“And you're boring,” he replied, making an exaggerated turn with his arms, as if he were in the middle of a dance competition.
That's when one of the bodyguards approached, serious, but with an indulgent smile.
“Guys, enough partying. We're about to land. Please sit down and fasten your seatbelts.”
Eros obeyed without question. But when he looked at Sasha, he noticed how her expression changed.
The smile disappeared. Her fingers clung to the edge of the seat. And a slight tremor in her lower lip gave her away.
“What's wrong, Sasha?” Eros asked, getting up and walking toward her. “Are you okay?”
“I hate flying,” she replied in a low voice. “But landing... that's what scares me the most.”
