ChefCarmenPure and simple, it was all about power and greed and a superiority complex. Dimite y wasn’t much better than Gregory. Sounds like Maurice wasn’t as evil but he was definitely no angel. Sylvester is a far cry from his ancestors and his children will be better than him still. Sly is a good man.
ChefCarmenGregory and Adrik were cousins and friends. They teamed up against the council to reestablish the kingship but were given lordships instead. Adrik was ok with not being Lord because he knew that his grandson would be Lord next. He wasn’t greedy. Gregory was greedy and power hungry & betrayed Adrik

Renee FloresCan anyone remind me who Gordon was? I can't remember where he was from and it's hard scrolling back chapter by chapter. I would LOVE to see this book in print!!! It makes it easier to go back and keep all of the characters straight...lol Especially when there are so many of them!!!
