Darius leaped into the air just as Isabella launched her attack, so it missed him. He looked down and saw a black vortex where he had stood a second earlier; everything within a certain radius of the vortex was sucked inside.

Edward’s lips twitched when he saw this, and he immediately moved away. He couldn’t guarantee his own safety, but he was sure if he came into contact with that vortex, he’d immediately lose his life.
