Erin saw a message appear on her laptop
screen. In it, Darius explained his current situation, causing her to frown.
She looked up at Bridget, alerting, “Mr.
Reid might be in trouble. I’m unsure if he’ll sustain any physical injuries
from this unforeseen situation.”
As soon as Bridget heard that first
sentence, she put away the map she held and got up to leave. Only when she
