Momo shook her head. "To be frank, with the threat we're facing, you might not be safe even if you've cut all ties. When push comes to shove, watching you and protecting you is no different."

"I understand," Claire nodded.

With that, Momo led her to the car park where a black minivan was waiting.

Putting everything in the back, she pulled the sliding door open for Claire before getting behind the wheel.

As she started the minivan, she said, "As I've said before, we'll be leaving at nine. The
