At this point in the video, Gustavo recalled that he was almost killed by Hector's assassins, but now, he had to remind Hector and the family members about unity and loyalty. He was full of grief and anger.

If it had been up to him, he would have told his family that Hector was the one who had tried to kill him and asked them to avenge him or at least take him down from the position of head of the family.
