Rosalie replied with a small smile. “It’s no problem. This is part of my job, and you’re Mr. Wade’s friend.”

Rosalie then added, “Mr. Wade said that you and Lord Fox leaving the country must be kept absolutely confidential. Thus, we cannot arrange for you to travel by air. The journey by ship is long, so you’ll need to get used to it. I hope you won’t mind.”

“I understand.” Kathleen nodded and said, “I’m already very grateful to Mr. Wade that my grandfather and I are able to leave Aurous Hill.”

Rosalie nodded. “I’ve just confirmed with the captain that our destination is the Tartus port in western Syria. For safety reasons, our cargo ship will not be docking anywhere before arriving at Tartus port. Our cargo ship is expected to arrive in Singapore in five days and the Suez Canal in about eighteen days. Including the time needed to queue up to cross the canal, we will arrive at Tartus port in about twenty days.”
