Sophie’s self-esteem was once again hurt because of Charlie’s attitude.

She looked at Charlie’s side profile as she bit her lower lip without saying anything else anymore. After that, she turned around and left the courtyard with her brother.

After the pair of siblings had staggered out of the courtyard, Jaime asked in a soft voice, “Sophie, were all of those ninjas defeated by that young man just now?”

Sophie replied solemnly, “He is not ‘that young man’. He is our benefactor.”
