As soon as the Great Elder left, James and Wynton began discussing telepathically.

James said, “There’s definitely something wrong. This place doesn’t look anything like the headquarters of a corrupted sect.”

Wynton replied, “Yeah, I was thinking the same. It’s surrounded by abundant Empyrean Spiritual Energy and has no traces of corrupted aura. If it really is the Malvada Sect’s headquarters, it would’ve been impossible for them to completely prevent the aura from leaking out.”

The two were
