Madelyn knew that she could not simply head over to the Emperor’s Mansion. So, she got her hands on Thea’s number and gave her a call.

Hearing this, Thea froze.

James asked, “What’s wrong?”

Thea whispered, “It’s Madelyn.”

Stunned, Maxine furrowed her eyebrows and wondered, “Why would she call at such a time?”
