Deirdre felt conflicted before she said those words. However, she felt as if she was relieved of a heavy burden after uttering those words.

Perhaps she had already known the answer in her heart for a long time, but she was feeling so torn all this time because of the past events that she did not have the courage to move forward.

"Deirdre, you said it yourself. Don't leave me."

Deirdre shut her eyes and leaned on Brendan's shoulder. "I won't."

After hugging for a while, Deirdre realized that
