“Her leg is crippled. Yesterday, I consulted an expert about her leg. They said the chances of it being cured are very slim now because the treatment was delayed.”
As he spoke, Lucas hurled his glass to the floor, shattering it into pieces, and the wine spilled everywhere.
“Why? Why does she have to endure such suffering? Why isn’t it me who is crippled?!” Lucas cried out in anguish as he pounded his fist against the wall. “Why? Why?!”
