Summer looked at Harry with a straight face. “Yes.”

That one word made him feel heartbroken. Harry was stunned, and he let go of his grip unconsciously.

He looked at his empty hand and knew that they could never get back together again.

Summer ordered a bowl of soup and some snacks at the hospital’s canteen and ate there.

She went to Hayden’s ward after finishing her meal.

Hayden was placed in a sterile ward because of the exchange transfusion. Summer could only look at her son through the glass.

The nurse told her that Hayden’s condition was not bad. It would take a few days to confirm his condition after his body stabilized.

Summer wasn’t bothered if Hayden would acknowledge her as his mother. She just wanted him to live well and have a bright future.

After staying for a while, she noticed Harry standing behind her as she was about to leave.

“When Hayden gets better, I will tell him that you’re his biological mother,” Harry said.

“I don’t care as long as he knows that Joyce
