The voice of Weston came through the phone, "What's the matter? Why are you suddenly calling me? Do you want to chat about the children?"

"Yes, I do want to talk about the children," Jackson replied calmly. "Did my son and daughter go to your house?"

"Don't tell me you lost your son and daughter?" Weston casually joked.

But to his surprise, Jackson replied, "Yeah."

*Cough cough*... A series of coughs came from the other end of the phone. The coughing only subsided after a while. "Your kids are missing?"

"Yes. If they come to you, please inform me immediately," Jackson requested.

"No problem. Do you want me to help you find them? This is Lanford, not Solaria. I have more connections here than you do," Weston offered, feeling obligated since Jackson had previously helped take care of his son.

"I would appreciate it," Jackson replied gratefully.

And so, Weston and Jackson both leveraged their connections to conduct a search within Lanford. Unbeknownst to them, the two children wer
