"AHH!" Clara grunted and woke up with a jerk. She snapped her eyes open and sat up to realize it was just a nightmare!

In her dream, she relived the memory of when Wilson had forcefully dragged her to the operation room earlier in the day. But in the dream, Wilson had not stopped the operation and insisted that it go on. Watching the needle prick her in fear, she had tried to struggle, but she could not move nor escape.

Clara was panting heavily, relieved that it was all just a dream. She looked at her sleeping son beside her and saw Yannick sleeping soundly. Fortunately, her nightmare had not woken him up.

Clara got up and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, but as she looked out the window, she was surprised to see Wilson outside. Wilson was leaning against the car, still in the same position she had seen him in a few hours ago.

Clara tightened her grip on the glass and finally made up her mind. Then, she put the glass down and went to the door.
