The old lady was sharing her experience.
Rosalie could feel the person behind her getting upset and displeased with the old lady’s comment, so she quickly interrupted.
“Madam, come on. I’m here to check your condition. If you’re alright, I’ll need to head back home. We’ll visit you again someday.”
The elderly had chatted with Rosalie all day yesterday. Thus, they knew she needed to return to Ocean City and stopped speaking. Instead, they quickly asked Rosalie to carry on with her journey back because it would be dark soon.
Rosalie was still worried about Byron getting upset when they left the nursing home.
Byron was walking behind her and still seemed to care about what the old lady had just said. Rosalie could sense his moody gaze on her.
“Ahem…” Rosalie had to comfort him by saying, “Don’t take that madam’s words just now to heart. I really have nothing to do with Young Master Xander.”
Byron glanced at her. “Do you talk to him a lot?”
Rosalie explained seriously, “We only tal
