Someone like Cabot did not actually need to fight during the preliminary stage. He could simply stand there as no one with a working brain cell would attack him.

Most of the other Martial Saints preferred not to fight in the preliminary round. That way, they could avoid others from observing their moves and finding ways around them.

Yet, Cabot did not look like he wanted to wait until he got into the next round.

He made a move, and pure energy gathered around him as he walked toward Tyler.

His posture said it all: He wanted to fight it out with Tyler.

Nearly everyone in the audience looked over at them.

If Cabot defeated Tyler during the preliminary round and the latter lost, they would be overjoyed.
