With all his questions answered, Louis said goodbye and hung up.

Isabelle said amusedly, “I thought he missed me. I think he’s just dying to hang out at your place.

“Louis and Phillip love you.”

Austin uttered, “I love them both too, and not because I’ll be their family. They are just so lovely, sensible, and innocent.”

He took Isabelle’s hands. “Let’s come here again during the summer, Ms. O’Connor.”

“Don’t call me that in Wiltspoon. Just call me Isabella or Isa.”

Austin grinned. “I’m used to it.

“You’ll always be my precious Ms. O’Connor.”

Isabella gave his cheek a squeeze before leaning against his shoulder. They enjoyed a moment in each other’s warmth.

It was around a two-hour drive from the airport to Wildridge Manor.

Austin told Isabella to take a nap.
