Grandma May replied, “Some are azaleas, some are magnolias, and some are crepe myrtles. The magnolias will bloom in March, but the crepe myrtle will only bloom in the summer. They were planted to bloom in intervals so that we’ll always see blooming flowers all year round.
“After the New Year, once the plum blossoms have bloomed, you guys should come back and go with me for a flower viewing. We have cherry blossoms too—they’re all grown here on the manor grounds.
“In June, you can enjoy the lot
