“Julian has a disorder—hypoactive sexual desire disorder. He’ll only have a reaction toward one woman in his whole life. If he never meets that woman, he’ll basically be a eunuch. It’s incurable. You could say he’s at the mercy of God.”

Zoey was silent for a moment before saying, “This is my first time hearing about an illness like that in all my decades of living.

“In that case, if you marry Julian, you don’t have to worry about him changing his mind about you nor about other women climbing into his bed to steal him away from you.”

Quinn replied, “Theoretically, that is the case. Julian also told me that he doesn’t have any reaction at all to other women.

“When his parents found out about his disorder, they arranged blind dates for him every day. When he didn’t go on the blind dates, his parents would show him pictures of young ladies in hopes that one of them would trigger a reaction
