His mind was a tangled mess of thoughts, none of them helping. He had no clear idea what he was going to do with the problem, now far more serious, because his assistant had seen the video and read the message.
Out of the corner of his eye, he watched Johari walk around the desk. Her head was bowed, and another stab of guilt twisted in his gut. Without saying a word, he took those two steps and entered his office. He knew Johari was right behind him.
“Sit down”, he said, gesturing toward the ch
