It is already past midnight when the guests begin saying their goodbyes. Eloá is happy when she sees how many gifts she has received.

“Are you going to spend the whole night opening presents, or are you leaving them for tomorrow?” Elisa asks.

“I'm leaving them for tomorrow,” she replies with a smile.

“Then we'd better go to sleep. Today started out so badly… but, thank God, it ended much better than I imagined.”
