It was Saturday morning, I was at home playing with Pedro on the carpet and Melissa was lying on the couch. We were chatting very animatedly. The meetings at Alessandro's house didn't happen every Saturday anymore, only when Alencar had something very important to inform. But today we would have the day off and we were planning what to do.

My cell phone rang on the kitchen counter and I went to answer it. When I looked at the screen, I recognized the number as belonging to the doctor's office and found it strange. I answered it with great surprise.

- Catarina? This is Sílvia, Dr. Molina's secretary. How are you?

- Yes, of course. How are you, Sílvia, and you?

- Very good, thank you. I was waiting for you to call me to reschedule your appointment. It's been a while.

- Wow, Silvia, I completely forgot. It's just that I've been having some very busy days. – I vaguely remembered that I had to cancel my last appointment and that you forgot to reschedule it later.
