Eric's clothes were drenched. Sylvia touched him and then headed to the car, fetching a fresh set of clothes to assist him in changing.

Dawn had already broken when Eric abruptly awoke. His body was covered in sweat while his clothes soaked once more. Despite this, his condition had notably improved.

"You're awake?!" Sylvia couldn't contain her joy.

Naturally, Eric was surprised and pleased to see her, but he suddenly recalled something that sparked a hint of anger. "Sylvia, why are you here? Why did you come? Don't you realize that Dortmund City is extremely dangerous right now?"

He felt uneasy. Despite his physical prowess, he had succumbed to infection. Hence, he worried about Sylvia facing the same fate.

Sylvia smiled. "Valerie informed me that you appeared to be infected with the virus and collapsed, so I rushed over. If I hadn't come, who would take care of you?"

Though visibly fatigued, she was genuinely happy. As long as Eric was alright, everything was fine.
