Harvey was feeling extremely awkward. He faked a cough and changed the topic.

"Mr. Wenzel, I don't know what you've been doing in the last decade, but for you to be able to return in such a critical time means you've been paying attention to Grand City all this time, correct? You have let things take its course in Grand City, haven't you?"

At Harvey's words, Wenzel and Vaida both put aside the matter of Harvey's marriage.

There was a hint of surprise in Wenzel's eyes. "Why do you think that?"

"Simple. From the way Dan managed to become a scion, I can tell there are plenty of different factions within Grand City. All these factions are probably only respectful of you on the surface. The moment you disappeared, they did everything they could to push Dan into the seat of power so that they could have a puppet they could control.

"It's sad Dan didn't realize that and simply believed he was skilled in the game. In truth, without their protection, he's no one worth mentioning."
