Katy instinctively looked around her.

The members of the family were laughing coldly, their faces wretched and sinister.

“Enough looking already, Katy. Nobody’s going to believe that filth…” Eden said slowly.

“Only someone as naive as you can believe that a useless kept man can do something like this,” Valery exclaimed arrogantly.

The elder with a goatee sighed.

“Wake up, Katy. That’s enough dreaming.”

Katy was utterly heartbroken. She had done her very best for her family for the longest time; yet nobody was standing by her side, nor did they believe Harvey’s ability to do anything.

She stumbled back, her face pale.

Harvey quickly held Katy before she fell and whispered worriedly, “You okay?”

“I’m fine.”

Katy took a deep breath to steady herself. Then, she looked at Grandma Cobb with a bitter expression.

“Are you really not going to believe your own granddaughter, Grandma Cobb?”

Naturally, Katy still held hope for her family.
