Jeff shot Harvey a mocking look.

“There’s a saying: give a dog a bad name, then hang it!”

“Even if I prove my innocence, judging from how arrogant you’ve been acting, you’d probably look for another excuse to give me a bad name, wouldn’t you?”

“But trust me. When I die, you’ll be joining me soon after!”

“And not just you—your family and friends will pay for the price too!”

“Your ancestors will be dug out from the ground just to be burned to a crisp!”

Harvey swung the back of his palm across Jeff’s face again, making the latter stumble backward.

“You’re threatening me?” Harvey sneered coldly.

“You think this is going to work?”

“Besides, do you really think that I have no proof?”

“There were bodyguards from Longmen’s Law Enforcement with my wife.”

“Since they wouldn’t dare fight back, they were all crippled before they were sent to the hospital unconscious!”

“My wife’s body is nowhere to be found, even until now!”
