Broderick stood and walked towards her while Brett followed behind.

"Sir, I'll take my leave," Brett said and walked out as if he didn't see Amy.

"Feel like killing me? Go ahead. I committed an act of treason and also betrayed you, I deserve death, right? You can do whatever you want with me," Amy said, looking into his face gently.

"I can do whatever I want with you?" Broderick asked.

"Yes," she responded. "I deserve whatever punishment you decide to inflict on me."
