‘Let’s take a minute. I need a breather before I tear her heart out.’ I hissed over mind-link.

The darkness in my veins was crooning, ‘kill her, kill her, kill her.’ The possibility that she’d open her mouth again and say something that eroded the last shred of my willpower was terrifying enough to make me want to run.

Still holding Asher’s hand, I pulled him away from Rowena. The traitor was reclined in her seat, lazy smile on her face. She could act like being here was her choice, like this was some five-star resort, but I had a feeling she’d quickly change her mind once Asher began drawing blood.

The mere thought of hearing her screams had my hands shaking, twitching with the urge to let my magic take control.

There was clear reluctance on Asher’s end, but he relented and let me lead him into the observation room. As Rowena’s cell door swung shut, I closed in on my mate. The others in the room faded into the background, the prickling sensation that was their eyes smothered by fear.

Chemgeek94I’m very confused. Since starting book 2 of Asher she’s only finished stories that had already been started..and only started one other story. She updates multiple chapters multiple times a week and yeah sometimes life gets in the way, but she communicates regularly. The story is also progressing?
GraceGetting boring now, same same every chapter, no further on and waiting weeks/months to finish yet she’s finished others and started more! Isn’t cheap to read this and just wasting money reading the same chapter over and over! At this rate I’ll have to start it again to remember who’s who, not great!
LynnHow would her being in a coma be explained. But she can be anyone she wants too so she can be putting in the illusion and the real person is actually dead.

slmarksberryHere is why I suspect Cassidy. 1st she survived the night at the camper. 2nd. anytime she was at Lola's place she always disappeared for a while. Always had an excuse to go off alone, just like Rowena. 3rd we know it is someone that has always been there. 4th she has a thing for Asher.

JamieIt’s gotta be Cassidy. Brandon is gone and he trusts very few, Cassidy among those. She did something to Brandon and Asher. She’s the only one close enough. While the other options could still be there’s something about her that bothers me and has bothered Lola.

slmarksberryWe are 127 chapters into this book. We don't know anything different in chapter 127 than we did in 120. can the author stop dragging this out and move it along. If an editor got a hold of this book. there is no doubt about 30 chapters would be removed for irrelevant or repeated information.
slmarksberryWe are never going to know. The author just keeps writing the same thing over and over. Just a little different. I think this is the 3rd chapter Rowena has said the witch is right under their nose. She needs to get on with the story.
slmarksberryI don't think it is Clara or the trainer. The blood witch needed to be close to all of them. Able to get Asher's hair to be able to do the curse. Someone that was in their house. I doubt it is Clara. She has been fighting along side of Mason. Cassidy is my first choice and Flora the second.
