But at the very next moment, Steph noticed that the trigger he always pulled easily seemed welded and stuck, and he couldn't pull it at all!His veins surfaced on the back of his arm from exertion, and his finger could break from how strongly he was pulling. He could clearly feel the pain from his index finger joint, leaving his face covered in sweat but the trigger still wasn't budging an inch.Turning pale, he barked at the others, "There's something wrong with him! Shoot him! Now!"The black-clad men all promptly tried to shoot Charlie too, but their triggers jammed just like Steph's, and they started exclaiming in panic!"The trigger isn't budging!" "M-Mine too…"Groaning in frustration, Steph was about to call for reinforcements on his walkie when he suddenly realized he couldn't move his hand.A shiver running down his spine, he glared at Charlie and demanded nervously, "Who are you?! Is this all your fault?!"Charlie laughed coolly in disdain. "It's not my 'fault', it's

At the bar, the leader of the black-clad men was frustrated as he kept waiting for comms to be restored. At the same time, he was studying Tanya's tall, slender, and curvaceous figure, immediately feeling a fire in his loins. They were supposed to stage a major terror incident that would shock the world, and therefore knew he must restrain the beast in him.Still, he walked up to Tanya and smiled. "I didn't think I'd see you here, Ms. Sweet. You're my idol—the goddess of my heart, I've loved you for the longest time.""T-Then can you let me go?" Tanya asked nervously. "I was just here on vacation, I don't wanna die…"The leader leered at Tanya before chuckling, "I won't lie, Ms. Sweet—we're here to do something really bad… And the worse, the better for us. How could I miss such a golden opportunity with you being right here?"Tanya was left shuddering from his words, her voice cracking, "If it's money you want, I'll give you everything I have. Please don't hurt me…"The leader l

In the bar, the guests who had been retrained were horrified too.The man was alive a second ago, but his head fell completely off when he reached the door.It was simply bizarre!Their leader paled and stumbled backward, but soon yelled, "Move! Hostiles incoming!"The other surviving black-clad men tensed up even as they trained their rifles at the door, horrified that an entire army might soon come charging in.The leader was panicking too—he had three squads outside, and even sent some men from his own squad outside to help.If they were all dead, then he most likely would end up the same! With that time, he turned his gun at Tanya and shouted in the direction of the door viciously, "Show yourself! Or I'm going to shoot her, believe it!"Then, he barked at his men, "Not the door! Aim at the hostages! Shoot on my order!"All the hostages were screaming when they heard that, but before the leader could even yell at them to shut up, they all suddenly collapsed limply on the fl

It's obvious the leader didn't want to believe Charlie. However, the way he lost contact with his other men and seeing how the lackey at the door was beheaded was proof Charlie wasn't bluffing.Even then, he still refused to believe Charlie alone killed everyone outside, and suspected that he had other men outside.Refraining from firing on Charlie right away, he mused to himself for a moment before telling Charlie, "Come on, bro—we're all just trying to make a living, and there's no need to let things get ugly. You killed my men, and I acknowledge your advantage, so I ask for nothing more than to be allowed to leave. And then you can have these hostages back, unscathed!"Charlie, however, quietly replied, "You are in no place to negotiate anything."The leader promptly glowered. "Be reasonable! If you really want us both to fight to the bitter end, I can make sure my hostages will go down with me even if I'd get killed! Bullets go where they're fired, and are you ready to see you

Mark's words told Charlie that the situation in Syria was much more complicated than he thought. Those primitive rebels wouldn't be this smart, designing such an elaborate plan that ticked so many boxes. But with the help of an internationally famous troublemaker like Blackwater, their capabilities would naturally improve exponentially. It was therefore fortunate he ran into Hamed on the same isle, or the man would have been dead, the Ten Thousand Armies reduced to infamy. As a patron of Hamed's and the real owner of the Ten Thousand Armies, Charlie would be the biggest loser. It was like Blackwater was trying to steal his house and car, and they are going to need a lesson to remember.Hence, he told Mark, "I'll let you live in relative peace if you cooperate. Refuse and I'll kill you, before tracking down your family and killing them too!""Please, I'm the only one to blame! Don't hurt my family!" Mark begged frantically."Fuck that!" Charlie laughed coolly. "You were trying t
