"Why thirty years?" Rozi asked, puzzled by Adrian's statement.Adrian shrugged and did not answer.The night got darker. Adrian stood watch as Rozi took a nap in the tent. After a few hours, they traded places, and Rozi stood guard till the next morning. Although the sky was covered in shadow, some sunlight managed to pierce through, providing some light to Mount Shangspar.After a simple breakfast, Adrian packed up the tent before the pair approached the lake.Rozi asked, "Where should we go? Where's the water flowing?"Adrian pointed in a direction and said, “I noticed the water flowing in that direction while I was catching fish yesterday. We should be able to find the entrance if we follow the stream. Let's use the tidal waves while we still have them or we'll never find out where Partingia is buried."Rozi did not fully understand tides, but she was eager to find Partingia as quickly as possible.Adrian jumped onto a chunk of floating ice and used it as an improvised raft.

The cavern was covered in ice, with water constantly seeping through the surrounding cracks. The water would then freeze due to the sub-zero conditions here. The place was exceptionally large, with a passage extending deep into the distance. The reflective ice made the cavern look like a natural mirror. Adrian continued to contemplate the various possibilities, systematically piecing together the fragments of information in his mind. He first considered Mount Shangspar as a whole before searching for all kinds of possibilities through the fragments he had.Partingia was buried within Mount Shangspar, a mountain that had appeared out of nowhere. In other words, the people of Partingia could not have chosen where to be buried. This made its location nearly impossible to determine. If it were an ancient ruin, Adrian would have been able to locate it using his knowledge of geography and terrains. But this was no ancient ruin, which made determining its location difficult. After a while, Rozi replied, "This place is covered in snow. If there were trees and bushes everywhere, we could light this place up in flames and the ice would melt."Adrian chuckled, then suddenly said, "Hang on! What did you just say?"Rozi looked at Adrian in confusion. "I said, it’d be nice if there were trees and bushes around so that we could light this place up and melt the ice." Rozi did not understand much about this, but since Adrian said there was a chance, it meant there was a chance. The pair then established their base near Sky Lake, which provided them with a source of food. They also set up a second temporary base in a cave near Sky Lake, and their main goal now was to search for clues in the vicinity while waiting for the volcano to erupt.Days passed, and the pair explored all possibilities in the area but could not find any clues or answers. Meanwhile, Deus remained quiet, while the cities throughout Navia continued to build up their ecosystems.Over a week went by in the blink of an eye.On the morning of the tenth day, Adrian and Rozi were having breakfast in their tent when a deafening roar erupted throughout Mount Shangspar and the whole mountain trembled. When Deus ceased to spew lava and after endless water had poured into Sky Lake, the area around the volcano appeared to have undergone a transformation. Many layers of the ice had melted, and the heat wave had spread to all of Mount Shangspar. The ice blocks all over the mountains were melting under the high temperatures.Three days after the eruption, Rozi smiled excitedly. "The eruption has stopped. We can go look for Partingia now. Who knows? It may have emerged already."Adrian hesitated for a moment and observed the volcano. "It’s not done yet. There may be occasional minor eruptions to follow.
