334. INNOCENT DECEPTION

"Over there!" The lady guided him, pressing one side or the other with her cane.

"Ma’am, I’m not your pack mule!" Fenrir roared in his head, but he didn’t dare challenge her, not when she was steering them away from that vengeful creature.

At times, the mountain shook so much Fenrir thought a cave-in was coming and they’d be trapped.

A huge redhead was sprinting through the dark with a little old woman clinging to his back; it looked unreal, even a little comical.

But the things that happened to Fenrir were enough to make your guts bust with laughter…

He didn’t know how far he’d run until he saw moonlight at the end of a tunnel that opened into a dense forest.

Gasping for fresh air and sweating like a pig fleeing the butcher, he bent to get the “weight” off his back.

The lady’s legs touched the damp grass strewn with fallen leaves.

"Hey, you’re not careful at all, I almost lost my hair on those low ceilings!" she scolded, pointing at him with her cane and that judging stare.
