As they were about to leave, Larissa noticed that Kevan had packed a portion of breakfast with him.

"It's for Dylan," he explained.

After dropping Larissa off at the hotel, Kevan sent a WhatsApp text to Dylan. "Come to my office later. I've brought you breakfast."

Dylan sent back several lines of question marks. "Has the sun risen from the west today?" he asked.

Kevan snorted coldly. "If you don't want it, that's fine." He tossed his phone onto the passenger's seat and started the car again.
