Gale entered Joshua's room, finding him on the floor, engrossed in his Lego blocks.

"It's time to sleep. We can continue tomorrow," Gale said.

Joshua did not even lift his head. "Just a little more."

"Don't you get bored staying in the room all the time?"

Joshua was the restless type, always on the move, exploring everywhere as if afflicted with hyperactivity.

However, he seemed unusually settled.

"I could stay in this room forever, Mom. When will Shawn take me on a real spaceship?"

"Ask him yourself."

Joshua suddenly became hesitant. "I... I find it hard to ask."

"If you call him 'Daddy', he'd pluck the stars from the sky for you."

"Well, I hesitated to call him Daddy all this time, all for your sake."

Gale pointed at herself. "For me?"

"Yes. When you and Daddy truly reconcile and stop arguing over the fact that you hid me away, then I'll call him Daddy."
