Andrew walked to the hospital lobby with curiosity, where he found Irene lying on a gurney being wheeled to admission, wailing dramatically about her losses.

"My money! All my life savings! My retirement fund—it's all gone! God, why must you give me the hardest battle?" Her desperate cries drew sympathetic looks from passersby.
