The only sound was the heavy silence, broken by the hot, monstrous breathing of that creature. He turned. His blood-red eyes flashed with pure fury, still full of the hate and disgust that had consumed every bone of the renegades who had dared touch what did not belong to them.

Thrown across the cold cave stones, her small body trembling, bruised, filthy, stained with blood. Completely naked, pale skin marked with scratches, bruises and cuts, hair plastered to her face, smothered in mud and blood.
