Throughout the night, Ray alternated between reading novels, playing games, and resting with his eyes closed. But his spatial perception remained fully active, continuously monitoring the entire ship.

The seven people onboard had been anxious for a while, but eventually, all of them fell asleep. And they slept through the entire night.

Of course, someone did get up once in the middle of the night to use the bathroom—but that was all. Nothing unusu
