She quickly ran over to Serenity.

“Aunt Ser, I wanna hug too.”

“Alright, up we go, Jiggy.”

Serenity freed a hand to pick up her niece.

“Lil’ Pie’s sleeping.”

“That’s right, she’s asleep. What about you, Jiggy? Are you sleepy? Shall I take you back for a nap?”

However, Jiggy looked toward Sonny, who was still swimming in the stream, and refused, “Aunt Ser, I want Sonny.”

Serenity turned to look too, then replied, “Then I’ll call him over. He’s played for a while, too.”

“Sonny, Lil’ Bun, you guys have played long enough. It’s time to get out.

“Jiggy wants you to hold her.”

Sonny did not want to get out at first. He was right in the middle of his fun and was about to ask if he could play a little longer, but when he heard that Jiggy wanted him to hold her, he immediately headed for the shore.

The nannies began to call for each of the children they were in charge of to come to shore too.
