“Duncan usually does the cooking at home. He said that he wanted to improve his cooking. I think he puts out the best food already.”

Caroline smiled. “Any food is delicious when there is love.”

Liberty got up to check on the boys in the kitchen. She then went to sit near Caroline and whispered, “Did Darren drop any hints about proposing?”

“He didn’t talk about proposing. We are going to get our marriage license at City Hall the day after. I don’t think a proposal is necessary at this point.
