Although the plan was simple it carried quite a few risks and that was something Clara knew very well. So she would be the bait, she had experience in it after all. Escaping the Savages to stay alive was now of some use.

So she told the other wolves which way to go. They were to draw the hunters away, she would make them focus their attention on her, and then they would attack them from behind. A simple pattern, but one false step and the lives of more than one would be in danger.

With his ear he located each of the hunters. There were ten in all, but they were not all grouped together. The closest were two that were running towards them. It was time to act. Clara told them all to stay behind while the others who would help her hid.

She quickly transformed her body, letting her fur cover her and ran away, crossing the path of the two men who quickly raised their weapons in her direction. Clara already knew how lethal they were and that she would most likely lose her life if they reach
