The loud whistling of wind passed through them as they fell into the cave. Terror gripped their throats.
It was a bottomless hole; would they die from the fall?
After about ten seconds, they had finally reached the bottom of the cave. They were fortunate, considering that they had fallen into the puddle of a swamp, breaking their fall.
However, half of the impact was enough for them to see stars. It had almost turned their insides out.
Chester was the first one to get a hold of himself. He looked around and asked, "Is everyone okay?"
At that moment, Chester shivered at the sight of something a short distance away. Dread shot through him.
"We're alright!" the rest answered.
"What's going on, Brother Chester?" They asked again when they saw the change on Chester's face. They looked in the direction Chester was staring at; their legs wobbled with fear as panic seeped through them.
A short distance away, hidden in the dark, they were able to trace the outline of an enormous beast.
