For a time, the daemon soldiers couldn't get close. However, the daemon soldiers were incredibly formidable, and even with their combined efforts, completely defeating them proved difficult.

The battle reached a stalemate, with neither side gaining the upper hand.

"We can't keep this up. If we continue like this, we won't gain any advantage," Adrian said.

The others were confused. "But we've already used all our strength!"
